Dodge Band is a lean and hungry rock and roll band hailing from Columbus, Ohio. The band has a full repertoire of original rock songs with hints of blues, jazz, Latin, and 60s/70s rock, as well as a full array of cover songs sure to bring smiles to any crowd. Fronted by long-time professional musician, Steve Dodge, Dodge Band seeks to titillate the ears of music lovers everywhere with their one-of-a-kind rock sound.

Dodge Band members Steve Dodge, Jarrod Komarek, and Mandy Joy Gott began playing music together in fall of 2022 and have been creatively blending their musical styles as a band ever since.

Steve Dodge (lead vocals, guitar, percussion) started learning music in school at age 10 and hasn’t looked back. He’s performed in a wide variety of settings, such as solo busking on Daytona Beach, the Ohio Theatre Company, Nashville recording studios, punk rock basements, the OSU Shoe, biker gang clubhouses, university faculty solo recitals, street parades, and TV studios, not to mention his decades of work as a drums/percussion/guitar instructor in the Central Ohio area. He’s performed with Grammy Award winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members, such as Ric Ocasek of The Cars, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, John Lee Hooker, The Moody Blues, Brook Benton, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra,

and more.

Jarrod Komarek (bass/percussion/background vocals) began his musical journey experimenting with percussion instruments around age 4, starting with bongos and log drums he found in his family’s household. His formal music education began during his elementary years, and he performed with many renown ensembles throughout his education, including the Madison Scouts drum and bugle corps, Rhythm X indoor drumline, and the University of Kentucky jazz band. Since leaving the educational realm, Jarrod has performed with the rock band No Reverse Gear, folk/bluegrass band the Shady Grovers, and has recorded with Jaynie Crash and the Tall Men.

Mandy Joy Gott (drums/percussion/background vocals) began playing percussion in middle school and continued through high school in concert band, wind ensemble, marching band, and jazz band. During college, she played drums and percussion for the wind ensemble, college chapel services, and other musical performances. Beyond this, she has played drums in churches in Central Ohio, Northeast Ohio,

New Jersey, and New York City.
